Jentry Chau (Ali Wong) is a Chinese-American teen living in a small Texas town, just trying to survive high school—until she discovers a demon king is hunting her. Oh, did we forget to mention? Jentry has some supernatural powers she’d much rather forget about. Powers that she must now hone with the help of her great-aunt, who happens to be a weapons expert, as well as a millennia-old jiangshi (aka a Chinese hopping vampire). Because the underworld is coming for Jentry—whether she likes it or not.
