An icon to the end of his life and beyond, David Bowie produced two new albums and a musical during his final years. Coming to HBO on January 8th, a new documentary called David Bowie: The Last Five Years will explore his late-career activity and commemorate the magic Ziggy left us with, on what would have been the legend’s 71st birthday.
David Bowie: The Last Five Years will take us through the albums The Next Day and Blackstar, as well as the musical Lazarus, which was inspired by his character in the 1976 film The Man Who Fell to Earth.
