Stephen King’s Salem’s Lot is Moving from Theatrical to Streaming on Max in 2024

Stephen King fans, rejoice (and prepare to tremble in fear): New Line’s film adaptation of Salem’s Lot is coming this year, moving from a planned theatrical release to streaming on Max. No exact release date has been given yet but we’re glad to hear it’s moving ahead after the Warner Bros. Discovery merger in 2022 left its fate up in the air. Stay tuned for more details, but here’s what we know from Max:

Logline: Author Ben Mears returns to his childhood home of Jerusalem’s Lot in search of inspiration for his next book only to discover his hometown is being preyed upon by a bloodthirsty vampire.

Cast: Lewis Pullman as Ben Mears, Alfre Woodard as Dr. Cody, Makenzie Leigh as Susan Norton, Bill Camp as Matthew Burke, Spencer Treat Clark as Mike Ryerson, Pilou Asbæk as Straker, and John Benjamin Hickey as Father Callahan.
