Yooooo we are so hyped for this. Hulu just dropped the trailer and key art for Interior Chinatown starring the triple threat of Jimmy O. Yang, Ronny Chieng, and Chloe Bennet. To make things even sweeter, Taika Waititi is producing this limited series along with Charles Yu (who’s also the creator and showrunner).
Based on Yu’s novel of the same name, Interior Chinatown follows Willis Wu (Yang), an actor who plays a waiter in the background of a police procedural show. But when he accidentally witnesses a crime, he gets caught up in an investigation into Chinatown’s criminal web that turns him into the unwitting star of a new type of drama.
The trailer looks so fire, lit with plenty of secret sauce from Taika Waititi and Charles Yu, and served with a sizzling side of hot takes from the cast. We can’t wait for all ten episodes to hit Hulu on November 19.
