Netflix is cooking with this one. They just unleashed the trailer for Black Doves, an intense spy thriller set in London. Keira Knightley stars as Helen Webb, a spy passing her politician husband’s secrets to the Black Doves, a shady organization with a hit list. When Helen’s secret lover is assassinated, her boss (Sarah Lancashire) calls in an old friend (Ben Whishaw) to help—setting them on a mission to uncover a deeply rooted & deadly conspiracy.
The six-episode season hits Netflix on December 5th (with another season already confirmed to follow). The trailer puts you on edge, keeping the tone dark and chilling with bursts of gritty action—of course, seasoned with dry British wit. It’s set to a haunting cover of Nancy Sinatra’s “Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down)” by Raye, which won’t leave your brain for days, much like the performances from this all-star cast.
