Ohhhh, we can’t wait for this one. North of North is Netflix’s upcoming comedy series about a young Inuk woman named Siaja (Anna Lambe), who decides to leave her marriage and start over in a very small and tight-knit Arctic town where everyone knows everyone (and that means everyone knows everyone’s business). Hilarity and delightfully dramatic hijinks are pretty much guaranteed.
On playing Siaja, Lambe told TUDUM, “With this character, I saw a story that I was familiar with, about so many people that I grew up with. That drove me to want to be a part of telling this story, to go through all of Siaja’s layers and unpack why she is how she is.”
Joining her are Maika Harper as Neevee, Braeden Clarke as Kuuk, Jay Ryan as Alistair, Mary Lynn Rajskub as Helen, Kelly William as Ting, Zorga Qaunaq as Millie, Bailey Poching as Colin, Nutaaq Doreen Simmonds as Elisapee, Keira Belle Cooper as Bun, and Tanya Tagaq as Nuliajuk.
North of North premieres on Netflix on April 10.
