XO, Kitty is back!
With a rocky start to the season after all the chaos that occurred last year, our characters navigate new relationships and personal struggles with family, friends, romantic partners, and most of all themselves!

This season felt very soap opera-esque! Personally, I don’t think it’s better than the first season, just a bit more sensationalized. With a lot of the characters, I felt like I could sense what was going to happen. But that wasn’t necessarily a bad thing! One of the things I love most in this season is that it doesn’t take itself seriously. Some moments the characters will just break and go “That was weird… Right?” and you’ll stand up and go “Finally! Someone said it!’ There were definitely a lot of those moments for me throughout binging the episodes. And yes, This season is totally binge worthy!

In this season I felt that Kitty really was trying harder to be a better person this semester at KISS, there were a lot more moments in this season where I felt for her. We see a lot of characters go through personal changes and reflections. One of my main gripes with the main season was how self-centric she was and how that ended up hurting everyone around her, But now we genuinely see her start to worry about “Okay, maybe i’ve gone too far this time. Let me step back.” It’s character development I didn’t expect, but I am totally here for!

Some of my favorite moments in the show definitely involved Q (and maybe his new romance..?) as well as Dae’s progression throughout the series! Both of these characters are so near and dear to my heart! They’re just two genuine people who got roped into Kitty’s crazy antics. There’s some unresolved feelings that definitely drive the plot forward, but that’s what makes it fun!

Also be on the lookout for some star-studded cameos throughout the series. As well as a certain holy antagonist, or maybe they’re a bit… unholy?
Overall, I loved this season of XO, Kitty! Throughout the twists and turns, the gasps and screams, I found myself thoroughly enjoying this show and I can’t for you all to go watch it!
XO, Cub
