One of Star Wars’ most thrilling series, Andor is coming back for more on April 22. The new season picks up with our beloved Cassian (Diego Luna), who steps up as a key player in the Rebel Alliance as the war unfolds. The trailer is an extra special treat for all of us Rogue One lovers: The delightfully evil Director Orson Callan Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn) returns to the screen, as well as K-2SO (voiced by Alan Tudyk), who captured our hearts many moons ago.
Andor creator Tony Gilroy says, “One of the great thrills of making ‘Andor’ is the scale of the story and the number of characters we’re able to meet — ordinary people, Imperial overlords, passionate revolutionaries. They are real people making epic decisions, all of them staring down questions with terrifying consequences. Cassian’s journey is the soul and spine of our story, but it’s the choir that makes the show. I’m so excited for audiences to see where we go in Season 2.”
Relationships will be challenged, sacrifices must be made, and everyone has skin in this game but nobody’s playing fair. If you weren’t already geared up and ready for action, the S2 teaser is gonna light a fire in you, set to a rousing rebel soundtrack as Cassian asks, “You wanna fight? Or you wanna win?” Sometimes you gotta get off your high horse and do what it takes to survive—and right now, truer words have never been spoken.
The 12-episode final season will be split up into four chapters of three episodes each. The first chapter will premiere April 22, with subsequent chapters debuting each week—you’d best be paying attention.
