(It’s been) three months since Jovanni’s passing.
During his time with us here on Earth, he wrote, produced, and was featured on hundreds of songs — many of which have yet to be released.
Losing a child is, without a doubt, one of the hardest things a parent can endure. But I’m grateful that we can still hear Jovanni’s voice through his music, especially with his signature out of pocket humor shining through. I honestly don’t know what I would do without it.
So, to honor him, we’ve released 7 of his songs on an EP titled thebigbangtheoryEP. More singles and EPs will follow (and wow, I’m learning just how challenging music production can be…). I hope you’ll take some time to listen.
We’ll also be releasing clean versions over time, as requested by Jaxon. Any royalties generated from Jovanni’s music will go toward supporting his presence on major streaming platforms, and more importantly, Jowell and Jaxon’s future.
I’m grateful that we can still hear Jovanni’s voice through his music, especially with his signature out of pocket humor shining through.
I also want to say a special thank you to the following people who helped bring this EP to life — whether through their creative input, professional support, or helping ensure its been promoted across social media:
Jovi’s friends (Onyx, Brian, Derrell, Luna, Dayvion, Kadence, Brett – to list a few). Kass McKnight (aka Prod by Kass). All the beat producers featured on the album. Madeline Mattson. Logan Smith. & last but not least, another one of Jovi’s friends… Corry – I could never thank you enough for helping me with all of the details going into this & always checking in on me/us. (& I definitely am missing thanking some people – so I apologize)
We miss our boy every single day. Some days are much harder than others. Losing him hurts today just as much, if not more, as it did on November 24, 2024. Some wounds stay with us, becoming a part of who we are, no matter how much time passes. But amidst the pain, we feel blessed and continue to appreciate all the love and support we’ve received.
M.
