Our most beloved little monster Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) is returning to darken our screens once more this summer. This year at Nevermore, Wednesday will be joined by her little brother Pugsley (Isaac Ordonez), while their parents, Morticia (Catherine Zeta-Jones) and Gomez Addams (Luis Guzmán), will take a more active role at the academy. Parents??? At school??? The horror!
“Wednesday Addams is one of the coolest characters of all time, so to have gotten the opportunity to play her once was incredible, and then to be able to slip into the costume and tone again, it’s so much fun,” Ortega tells TUDUM. “She runs circles around everyone that she has a conversation with, so to play someone who’s so much more intelligent than you will ever be, it’s quite funny and strange and enjoyable.”
Much like any good murder, Wednesday Season 2 will be chopped up into two parts, with Part 1 hitting Netflix on August 6, followed by Part 2 on September 3.
