Premiering June on AMC and AMC+

AMC Networks just gave us a brand‑new sneak peek from The Vampire Lestat, the deeply yearned for chapter in Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe that hasn’t been adapted until now. The scene, titled “The Book,” gives a first look at Lestat’s (Sam Reid) reaction to the release of Daniel Molloy’s explosive tell-all, Interview with the Vampire. The bickering between Lestat and Louis is legendary. Why is their chemistry so good?

The series arrives this June on AMC and AMC+, and the excitement is peak.

A Season Fueled by Fame, Chaos, and Rock & Roll

This new chapter shifts gears into a rock‑and‑roll‑driven storyline as Lestat launches into a charged multi‑city tour. But stardom comes with shadows: muses from his chaotic past begin to haunt him, even as his band’s fame skyrockets. With his influence stretching across humans and vampires alike, tensions spike in the wake of the Great Conversion—a mysterious and unnatural surge in the global vampire population.

A Stacked Cast & Creative Team

Alongside Sam Reid and Jacob Anderson as Louis, the series stars: Assad Zaman, Eric Bogosian, Delainey Hayles, and Jennifer Ehle

Behind the scenes, the series is powered by executive producers Mark Johnson, Rolin Jones, Hannah Moscovitch, Christopher Rice, and the late Anne Rice.

Music That Bites Back

This sneak peek follows the debut of Lestat’s first official rock single, “Long Face,” which premiered earlier this month. The track—created by composer Daniel Hart and performed by Sam Reid—is just the start. Fans can expect more original music to drop in the coming months.

The single is now live on Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music via the newly launched Vampire Lestat artist profiles.
