We talk about everything that’s on your mind, including theories, those laughs, and some other things you won’t be expecting, all on this super-sized episode that’s big enough to fight giants but still love Chopper.

A Salute to Season 2

Sherin, Julian, Sarahti, and Sam jump right into this mega episode by breaking down the characters and their development so far. They share their thoughts on how the Netflix adaptation is balancing One Piece’s plotlines with what the manga fans know and what newcomers need to know—and why they believe Season 2 is even stronger than the first. (Read Julian’s full S2 review for more.)

There Might Be Giants

Next up, it’s time for some shoutouts, including the scenes they absolutely loved to see and the characters who are cooking with fire this season. They also get into some of the flashbacks and whether they worked or not, before heading to Little Garden to check out some giants.

Live Action Love

From the character design to the VFX, our Rioters dissect all the work that goes into adapting One Piece for live-action. Listen out for some name drops and their fave character cameos, too.

Extra Innings

We told you this episode is just about as long & stretchy as Luffy—so stay tuned to hear our hosts dive even deeper into the character arcs, the inspirations and parallels driving the story, and how it connects to the real world. They also claim that this adaptation is showrunner Matt Owens’ vision, and what his stepping back from the show could mean for the future. That leads them into their predictions for the next season and why they think the best of Baroque works is yet to come.
