Netflix’s ‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ Confirmed for Two More Seasons

The global phenomenon, Netflix’s live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender has officially been renewed for two more seasons. The show, which reimagines the beloved animated series, will return to conclude the epic tale of Aang and the unification of the four nations: Water, Earth, Fire, Air.

Since its debut on February 22, the series has taken the world by storm, becoming Netflix’s top English TV show with over 41.1 million views in just the first 11 days. The series ranked number one in 76 countries and made the top 10 in 92 countries. On TikTok, the hashtag #AvatarTheLastAirbender generated a whopping 1 billion views within the series’ first week.

The talented ensemble cast includes Gordon Cormier as Aang, Kiawentiio as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka, Dallas Liu as Prince Zuko, and Daniel Dae Kim as Fire Lord Ozai. Showrunner Albert Kim, alongside executive producers and directors Jabbar Raisani, Michael Goi, Roseanne Liang, and Jet Wilkinson, have reimagined the award-winning Nickelodeon animated series, introducing the magical world of bending to a new generation.
