The highly anticipated return to George Miller’s dystopian world is here. Warner Bros. Pictures just dropped the latest trailer for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, featuring Anya Taylor-Joy and Chris Hemsworth.
Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga comes to theaters on May 24, 2024.
The film, a brainchild of Academy Award-winning director George Miller, is a standalone action-adventure that explores the origins of the powerful character from the Oscar-winning Mad Max: Fury Road. Produced by Miller and Oscar-nominated producer Doug Mitchell Furiosa looks like a riveting journey back to the iconic dystopian world that fried our global minds over 30 years ago.
Young Furiosa is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers, falling into the hands of a Biker Horde led by Warlord Dementus. As they sweep through the Wasteland, they encounter the Citadel, presided over by The Immortan Joe. Amid the war for dominance between the two tyrants, Furiosa must navigate a series of trials to find her way home.
Taylor-Joy, taking on the title role, is joined by Hemsworth, Alyla Browne and Tom Burke. Brace yourselves for a wild ride back into the Mad Max universe this May.
