Netflix and Shondaland have announced that Bridgerton Season 4 will spotlight the romantic journey of the bohemian second son, Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson. Like his brothers, Benedict has had his share of bad romances. Now that he’s discovered the joys of his bisexuality, his aversion to settling down is at an all time high (not that his hesitance matters when love grabs ahold on him). Season 4 is a Cinderella story. When Benedict flirts with the mesmerizing Lady in Silver (the mistreated Sophie Beckett in disguise), at the annual masquerade ball hosted by his mother, we’ll be sipping champagne out of those glass slippers.
There are rumors Sophie will be played by a Southeast Asian actress. We hope that’s true. If she’s queer that would be amazing too.
