Back in 1997, the AI named Skynet launched its attack on the Earth. Fast-forward to 2022, humanity is all but spent after decades of war. Terminator Zero follows a soldier who is sent back to the 90s to try and stop the war from ever happening—and protect the scientist who can make that happen—but it seems they’re not the only ones trying to control the world’s fate.
In this 8-episode anime series, Terminator Zero seeks to deliver us a fresh take on the Terminator franchise and the trailer definitely has us intrigued. The darkness, the power, the threat of impending doom—the teaser is all thrills of the apocalyptic kind. Terminator Zero comes to Netflix on August 29.
