Zack Snyder’s back at it again with another Netflix epic, this time playing fast & loose with Norse mythology. The red band teaser trailer for Twilight of the Gods has arrived, introducing the love story of a mortal king named Leif (voiced by Stuart Martin) and a fearless warrior named Sigrid (Sylvia Hoeks). When threatened by the almighty Thor (Pilou Asbæk), they set out on a mission of vengeance, love, and war that takes them across fantastical lands to fight all manner of gods and demons.
“My imagination was always really sparked by the Norse gods … Thor, Odin, an adventure story about love and redemption and revenge set in this amazing landscape,” Snyder told Netflix. “It just really made me want to dig in and get involved.”
Twilight of the Gods debuts on Netflix on September 19 and the teaser doesn’t hold back. This one’s definitely NSFW and definitely one to watch out for.
