Zack Snyder’s bringing Norse mythology to Netflix in a big & NSFW way with Twilight of the Gods. The 8-episode animated series tells the love story of mortal king Leif (voiced by Stuart Martin) and fearless warrior named Sigrid (Sylvia Hoeks) who find themselves facing down Gods and monsters on their wedding night.
The trailer captures the mythological power and thrall of the series, giving you an electrifying taste of what to expect. Joining Hoeks and Martin are Rahul Kohli as Egill, Paterson Joseph as Loki, Pilou Asbæk as Thor, John Noble as Odin, among others. Oh, and just to up the epic factor: Hans Zimmer is doing the score, so you know it’s gonna be good.
