It feels like we’ve been waiting forever for this one—but November 22 is inching ever closer, and the magic of Wicked‘s new trailer is going to keep us floating until then. The teaser gives us more glimpses into the wonderfully wicked land of Oz, soundtracked by snippets of “Defying Gravity”. It’s visually breathtaking, the world is immersive, and the music is, well, very dear to our theater-loving hearts.
Cynthia Erivo stars as our beloved Elphaba, a misunderstood young student with immense power, and Ariana Grande joins her as the ever-popular good witch Glinda. The two meet at Shiz University where they become unlikely besties who find their lives going in two very different directions.
