Six years ago Genndy Tartakovsky started development on an adult-oriented animated action film. The studio liked the concept but doubted a theatrical audience existed for the property.
So Tartakovsky is flipping the script: sharing the test footage himself to rally the fandom. If enough of us geek out, perhaps the suits might agree to greenlight the feature project.
