THE MAIN QUESTIONS: Time Might Be A Circle in “Exodus”- Paradise Season 2 Finale

There's no doubt Xavier, Link, and Baby Annie are the keys to fixing the future by changing the past when Paradise Season 3 happens

The Paradise S2 finale is out in the world, and it’s time to say goodbye to the bunker. Episode 208: “Exodus” tears everything apart, but at least we got a few answers. Here are THE MAIN QUESTIONS and my predictions for Paradise Season 3, based on that shattering ending:

Episode 208: “Exodus”

But first, a recap. This isn’t the old school apocalypse—unless your teacher was a quantum supercomputer with a penchant for cryptic key cards and existential dread. “Exodus” brings the bunker down, asks who gets to write the future, and leaves us with a sinking sense of excitement as we stare into the Denver airport the same way we stare into the middle distance.

The world is shifting—again. The Paradise Bunker might be the worst family reunion of all time. Xavier is trying to save Presley. Link sacrifices his last true friend, Geiger, to get to Alex, and both Dr. Torabi and Sinatra are serving up cold-blooded leadership with a side of “I’ll handle it.” Meanwhile, Link has two daughters. One is Baby Annie. The other is Alex, the quantum computer who presides over the past, present, and future. And time is flexible. The Season 2 finale isn’t just about leaving the bunker; it’s about who decides what comes next, and whether saving the world is written in code, blood, or a parent’s love.

Standout Moments:

No surprises, no surprises at all, Jane got up out of the shower and is now on the outside. We knew that was coming.

The introduction between Teri and Dr. Torabi was fraught. I giggled. Xavier was like, “Please be cool.”

The passionate kiss between Presley and the first son, Jeremy, had me smiling. Especially after Xavier told them to calm down.

Did anyone else get chills when Xavier risked it all for Presley in that elevator?

We knew Jeremy would never leave Robinson behind to die. He’s a hero in his heart. We also know she was never going to shoot him—otherwise, what was the point of saving him?

The biggest flex was Sinatra walking into chaos like she’s got a plan (because she does).

THE MAIN QUESTIONS / WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN:

I know this took me a while; my apologies. Still, I’m here to finish what I started and leave you with the main questions and a few predictions in the aftermath of Paradise season two.

After the events of the final episode of the season, when Sinatra strokes Dylan’s face and says, see you soon, she really meant, “I’ll see you soon.” Let me explain.

My guess is: We’re headed for a reboot. Not of the show, but a new kind of computer reboot. As in, Alex is going to restart the world. I’m not sure how far back or how far forward the creatives behind Paradise will take us, but the spacetime continuum isn’t safe. Basically, Paradise is going to play with time (and our minds).

Since the goal—according to Sinatra—is to fix what we collectively broke, Link/Dylan and Xavier are the prime candidates to help Alex push the reset button. Although we know Annie also has a part to play. It’s funny because all season long, I thought Alex would turn out to be Link’s baby daughter from the future. In a way, I was right. Alex is technically Link’s oldest child.

My prediction is that the timey-whimey-ness of Season 3 will lead to some differences of opinion between Xavier and Link. Xavier is User X, after all. The decision will ultimately be his. Because of that revelation, I’m officially calling Paradise S3  “To Be Hero X” the live-action. IYKYK. But is Xavier ready to rewrite the past? We’re about to find out.
