Introducing The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare: It’s Time To Kick Some Axis!

|

Get ready to journey into the clandestine operations of World War II with the upcoming The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. The action-comedy is directed by Guy Ritchie and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare is based on the book of the same name by Damien Lewis. The film brings to life the true events and recently declassified files of the British War Department, telling the story of the first-ever special forces organization formed during WWII by UK Prime Minister Winston Churchill and a small group of military officials, including author Ian Fleming. This top-secret combat unit, made up of a diverse group of rogues and mavericks, embarks on a daring mission against the Nazis using entirely unconventional and utterly “ungentlemanly” fighting techniques. Their audacious approach not only changed the course of the war but also laid the foundation for the British SAS and modern Black Ops warfare.

The film’s screenplay is a collaborative effort by Paul Tamasy, Eric Johnson, Arash Amel, and Guy Ritchie. The production team includes Jerry Bruckheimer, Guy Ritchie, Chad Oman, Ivan Atkinson, and John Friedberg.

The star-studded cast features Henry Cavill, known for “Man of Steel” and “Mission: Impossible – Fallout”, Eiza González from “Baby Driver”, Alan Ritchson of “TV’s Reacher”, Alex Pettyfer from “In Time”, Hero Fiennes Tiffin of the “After series”, Babs Olusamokun from “Dune”, Henrique Zaga of “Beyond the Universe”, Til Schweiger from “Inglourious Basterds”, with Henry Golding of “Crazy Rich Asians” and Cary Elwes from “The Princess Bride”.
