Tom Ellis is God, didn’t you get the memo? Netflix has dropped the final trailer for Exploding Kittens ahead of its release on July 12, and it’s taking the rowdy card game to a whole new level of meta. In the series, God (Ellis) gets sent down to Earth to learn how his creations tick…only he’s in the form of a very sassy cat, and soon finds himself adopted by a family with more dysfunction than him.
Of course, the Devil can’t let God have all the fun, so she comes down in the form of a Devilcat (Sasheer Zamata), and, well, chaos ensues (would you expect anything less?). Check out the hype trailer below and prepare for armageddon in the most fantastical feline fashion.
