FIRST LOOK: ‘Unstoppable’ Directed by William Goldenberg Set to Premiere at TIFF

Unstoppable, the inspiring true story of national wrestling champion Anthony Robles, is set to premiere at this year’s Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The film marks the directorial debut of Academy Award-winning editor William Goldenberg, known for his work on ArgoThe Imitation Game, and Zero Dark Thirty.

Robles who—despite being born with one leg—defied all odds to become a national wrestling champion is played by Jharrel Jerome. Robles also contributes to the film not just as an inspiration for the story, but as a producer and his own stunt double.

The film boasts an all-star ensemble cast with Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Don Cheadle, and Jennifer Lopez, who will be portraying Robles’ mother. The release is set for December following the festival premiere, promising an inspiring story of determination and triumph to the big screen.

Unstoppable is a production by Artists Equity that goes beyond just storytelling. The film production prioritized an inclusive work environment, employing Accessibility Coordinators from IndieVisible to ensure safety and accessibility for all cast and crew members.
