…and with it comes a new trio for a new generation of dino-fans: Scarlett Johansson as the skilled covert operations expert Zora Bennett; Mahershala Ali as Duncan Kincaid, Zora’s most trusted team member; and Jonathan Bailey as paleontologist Dr. Henry Loomis.
Set five years after Jurassic World Dominion, the dinosaurs that survived Earth’s hostile welcome have retreated to more equatorial climates. As for humans? Well, they’ve stayed mostly away from these giant prehistoric monsters…until now, of course (we never learn). It turns out the three most colossal creatures hold the key to a miracle drug that will save humankind. So the heroic trio must try and retrieve some of their DNA. And…well, we’ve seen enough of this franchise to know that chaos ensues.
Hitting theaters on July 2, Jurassic World Rebirth is directed by Rogue One‘s Gareth Edwards from a script by original Jurassic Park screenwriter David Koepp. Rounding out the cast are Rupert Friend, Martin Krebs, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luna Blaise, David Iacono, Audrina Miranda, Philippine Velge, Bechir Sylvain, and Ed Skrein.
