James Ulster still has his foot on Will‘s neck in the new episode “He Lives!” Dr. Roach (Margaret Cho) is back for another session. This time, she’s teaching Will to use his delusions. He’s going to need his phantom Ulster because a copycat sends Will racing to San Juan.
Things happen fast in Puerto Rico, and in the first of a multi-part storyline, Will finds both a possible new paramour in FBI Agent Lana Elkie (Mallory Jansen) and what looks like the beginning of a ‘mirrored image’ nemesis.
We’re having some fun now. Meanwhile, Faith, Angie, and Ormie work backup with Momma Amanda taking the lead. She should. Will is her baby boy, and no one knows more about the backstory behind this case. As the clues pile up and the plot gets juicier, Will has to rely on his chosen family to protect the family he might one day make for himself.
I guess he and Cousin Faith are dreaming similar dreams of real love.
No Franklin in this episode of Will Trent—the writers are playing with us—but we get a Pete (Kurt Yue) sighting and a fancy cocktail of Uncle Antonio (John Ortiz), infidelity, and dancing. Even better, “He Lives!” is infused with Indiana Jones energy. Give Will his hat and a whip because the hunt is on.
