Kevin (Jason Schwartzman) is caught in the middle of a breakup. His humans (Aubrey Plaza, Mike Mitchell) have decided to part ways, and he doesn’t particularly want to go with either of them. Oh, yeah, did we mention? Kevin is a cat—and a neurotic one at that, who’s used to all the comforts of DINK New York apartment living. What ensues is a chaotic and surprisingly enlightened journey that takes Kevin from a local Astoria pet rescue to the streets of NY and beyond.
Arriving just in time for the chillest holiday of 4/20, Kevin is the offbeat animated series designed to satisfy all your late-night comedy cravings. From the creative brains of Aubrey Plaza and Joe Wengert, Kevin brings us into a misfit & madcap world of animals both domesticated and feral—think less The Secret Life of Pets, more Big Mouth. Yeah, the eccentricities and shenanigans are dialed up to 11, and we’d expect nothing less.
Kevin’s new Furrever Friends pet rescue roommates come in the form of the cats Cupcake (Whoopi Goldberg), Armando (John Waters), and Judy (Aparna Nancherla)—and we can’t forget firecracker pup princess, Brandi (Amy Sedaris) and her human, Seth (Gil Ozeri)—who each bring their own brand of WTFery to the series. And with a substantial list of guest stars, including the likes of Quinta Brunson, Nicole Byer, Charles Melton, Jim O’Heir, Patti LuPone, and so many others, hijinks are not only promised but delivered with every line.

Each episode is powered by hyper-specific mashups of pet problems and city living, heavily seasoned with pop culture references. And the characters, both human and animal, are as colorful personality-wise as they are animated, keeping you guessing as to where their conversations are going to zip off to next.
As Kevin and his newfound friends figure out how to navigate this crazy ride we call life, they learn some pretty profound lessons about themselves, even if those lessons are wrapped up in some spectacularly terrible decisions along the way. And it’s that kind of messy, wacky, beautifully underdog (or should we say, undercat) character development that’ll keep you coming back for more.
