The Circle has moved to ATL and it’s bringing more drama than all the shows shot in Georgia combined. But one of the most exciting twists on a personal note is that one of the contestants is catfishing as her brother Paul Russell AKA the man behind last year’s song of the summer “Lil Boo Thang”.
The devil works hard but the casting directors work harder, pulling in players from across America for the biggest personality smorgasbord yet. From country mamas to psychic mediums to AI engineers, the players have plenty of skeletons in their closets (or in one case, sitting on their sofa with them). Every season it’s hard to imagine how much wilder the contestants can get but The Circle is a gift that keeps on giving.
It’s always delightful when catfishes get sussed out straight away, only to have others second-guessing with a well-placed emoji or hashtag. Especially when AI comes into play for the first time—and we’re not just talking about the AI engineer who tells it like it is. The squeals and giggles are only amplified by Circle queen Michelle Buteau, always poised to deliver the snark with a side of sizzle. Cheers to that!
