You already know what time it is: 🙆╠(I feel like the use of emojis here is appropriate given the nature of the show). The Circle is back for a seventh season (seriously, when did that happen?!) and somehow it still manages to keep you on your toes. The initial contestants immediately try to suss each other out and some of them even couple-up at lightning speed—although you’ll be yelling “c’mon!” at some pretty obvious catfish baiting.Â
It doesn’t take long for drama to ensue and for those alliances to be broken, though; this season is messy as hell, especially when The Circle offers players new chances to cause chaos and maybe even save their own skin. It’s clearer than ever that these contestants were chosen specifically to cause the most tension, with clashes in personalities and motivations springing up in a matter of days. Each intense moment is underscored by Circle Queen Michelle Buteau, who presides over it all with endless amounts of sass—we’d expect nothing less from this gloriously tumultuous show.
