Prime Video surprised fans at New York Comic Con (NYCC) with the exclusive first look at the highly anticipated series CROSS, starring our beloved Aldis Hodge as the legendary detective Alex Cross. Based on James Patterson‘s best-selling book series, CROSS brings a thrilling and streamy fresh out-of-the-oven adaptation to the screen—right here in our hometown of Washington, DC.
Aldis Hodge, known for his standout performances in projects like One Night in Miami and Black Adam, takes on the complex character of Alex Cross. A detective and forensic psychologist, Cross is uniquely skilled at delving into the minds of both killers and victims, making him a formidable force in solving the most challenging crimes. Hodge not only stars in the series but also serves as a producer, bringing depth and dedication to the role.
The NYCC panel, moderated by MSNBC’s Joy Reid, offered fans an in-depth look at the upcoming series. Joining Hodge on stage were showrunner and executive producer Ben Watkins and cast members Isaiah Mustafa, Alona Tal, Samantha Walkes, and Ryan Eggold. The panelists discussed character development, the adaptation process, and their excitement about bringing such a beloved series to life.
