My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is coming to Crunchyroll on April 7, with new episodes debuting weekly, and we cannot wait! TOHO Animation unveiled the upcoming anime’s key art and a stunning trailer that features the opening theme song “Kekka Orai” by Kocchi no Kento (the artist behind the viral “Hai Yorokonde”).
The spinoff takes place before the events of the main (and much beloved) My Hero Academia anime, which is based on the manga by Kohei Horikoshi. The series follows Koichi Haimawari, a college student drifting along in a world where Quirks (AKA superhuman powers) are common but only a select few are chosen to become heroes. But when Koichi and a girl named Pop☆Step are saved by the vigilante Knuckleduster, they find themselves recruited into the vigilante world!

My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is directed by Kenichi Suzuki (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders, Cells at Work!) and written by Yosuke Kuroda (My Hero Academia; Trigun), with the animation by bones film (Gachiakuta). Dive into the trailer below and mark your calendars for April 7!
