Hallmark Countdown to Christmas – Jingle Stop Tour

Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas has BEGUN! It started October 18 and runs through December 21.1 You can stream these movie premieres LIVE on Hallmark Plus or catch them on-demand for 3 days after they premiere.

Renee:  Welcome to CHRISTMAS! I mean, yeah I know it is a TAD BIT EARLY…but who doesn’t LOVE a Hallmark Christmas Movie!

So, when my wife and I got the chance to go ring in the most wonderful time of the year a little early with Hallmark, we jumped at the chance!!!!

Day:  We got up bright and early on October 16 to be down at Washington DC’s District Pier for the very first stop on their Jingle Stop Tour to launch their Countdown to Christmas 2024! Can you tell we’re excited?

Renee: It was festively cold when we arrived–

Day: HA! “Festive,” she says. It was COLD.

Renee (ignoring Day): It was FESTIVELY cold and so the “Countdown to Christmas” Santa hat they gave everyone was very welcome – and the hot chocolate and cookies were too!

Day: It was a fabulous crowd. Check out the entry line – complete with Santa hats, cocoa, and cookies!. But it moved FAST.

Day:  And the vibe on the pier was excited and joyous. Everyone was there because they love Hallmark movies and they love the stars of those films, and just the sense of fun that comes from sharing that passion for Christmassy happily-ever-afters. Honestly, we need more of that in the world.

Renee: A lot of people got a chance to be up close with the (more than a dozen) stars, with many people getting selfies with them and reaching out to get handshakes and hugs – they weren’t snuck in through the back, they walked right along the side of the crowd.  Which seems very in keeping with Hallmark.

Renee: And don’t forget the games and singing!

Day: I loved the singing. AND I got a few seconds of that on video.

Renee: I’m really looking forward to Hallmark’s first reality competition show: Finding Mr. Christmas. Ten young men compete to become the star in their very own Hallmark Christmas Movie. It is hosted by Jonathan Bennett, who we got to meet briefly.  He is so outgoing and sweet, he’s going to be a wonderful host.  And the sneak peek we got had me laughing already!

Day: I think Jonathan is going to be my new favorite tv show host. His charm is just off the charts and he is so kind to his colleagues. I cannot wait to see Hallmark’s first reality show! What are the different tests and trials these hopeful Mrs. Christmases will be put through? Chopping down Christmas trees? Baking Christmas cookies? Kissing?

But what I’m curious about is The Groomsmen. With Jonathan Bennett, B.J. Britt and Tyler Hynes this is likely to be a big hit with viewers. Not only because of the stars but also with the gorgeous locations of Bulgaria, Greece, and Italy! In the spirit of The Wedding Veil trilogy, Hallmark is giving us a new series, only this time the focus is on the guys!

Renee:  It was such a warm and wonderful event, despite the weather! Thanks for 15 great years Hallmark!!!
